Canadian s want a front seat at the Apocalypse - it would look a lot like slave lake this summer!
O.k so staying positive and overcoming peoples preconceptions of what they think you are. Other people look at me and often think I'm a nut.... They are right to an extent. I'm taking on things that are bigger then me. When kids from my school, who are like nineteen, hear me tell people things like "did you know that we live in one of the most resource filled countries in the wold?" then I ask "did you know that we live in the richest province in that country?"... when I see them acknowledge and agree with me I ask, "did you know that you live in the capital city of that province in that country, and did you know that you attend an institution that you pay more for your education then in any other." I look to see how they react. Then I tell them " We are in the richest place in the world, did you know that. Did you know that it is your responsibility to come out of this institution ready and willing to make the world a better place, because if we can't then who will?" Some kids understand what I'm saying and some kick me and my ideas to the curb. So fare I've found a few people who agree with me and are going to help me find more people to create a team that will influence the student body to start reacting in the world. It's going to be good.It's going to be published on line!

Concordia has a vibrant Campus life, just nowhere to represent itself together with the faculty and the surrounding community. The kids need to see themselves creating a difference, learning the steps required to change the world. The technology is forcing us to look at ourselves through our cellphones. People coming out of institutions like Concordia should be able to realize that what comes out of our mobile device is a direct reflection of what were doing in the real world.
What im trying to say is if the world is at our finger tips then we should reflect what we actually see, accurately quickly and with integrity, and we'll want to look at ourselves making a difference, we'll also see very clearly where we fail. The institutions like Concordia that are going to succeed in the future are ones who are going to let the students use technology to cooperate with one another to form the most progressive unions. In the future the best institutions are going to be the ones that let group members "think" online. re-assess information without boarders, at any moment in in time over and over again!!! (Until the code works perfectly!) It's a matter of opening the box, creating transparency, it's something institutions need to teach the kids going into industry. Because Industry can not sustain itself(we have an economy that is failing) kids have to come up with way to hold it up, then they'll be on the track that leads them to employment. Jobs of the future will focus on maintaining resources not wasting them. The internet lets us communicate freely. We're lucky that we've developed such a powerful tool to help maintain and save the world lets be part of the institutions that teach people to use it responsibly, productively and with integrity ok?

Ok, so over a month ago I met up with a city representative that is responsible for figuring out ways to keep the community in touch with examples of proper social etiquette. Recently I realized that the upper classes, the people who are "in charge" aren't doing a good job educating the people who are maintaining the country. The average Canadian is sitting around waiting for the world to end. The worst part is that being who we are we decide to pull up in front of the fire to get the best seat in the house. Our nation is full of people that have the resources and the potential to pull our planet out of a dumpster and into the stars, but instead we educate our youth to work for money and do what it tells us we need to do to survive.
My problem is that the voices behind the money, who we all know have the responsibility to make sure we succeed as a people are telling us that the only thing that's important is that we keep thinking about money instead of the stars. We're not going to last very much longer at our rate and we all know it. We don't change the rate, we tell the DJ to turn it up and we kick back with a couple doobies and a Pint at the Pint. We suck. The city said it didn't have the cash to back my idea.... I don't need it. They'll build a new arena. I'm sure everyone will gain. Especially ....? Whatever. We know who. I'll do better pulling it off on my own!

Future!
Today I took photos of an event and I paid for facebook ads. It's an experiment. I also became President of the Lions Club Campus section. It's cool. I want to give back to the community. Seems like the only way that's going to happen is if I knock on every door. I'll do it. I have so much support, and I'm working on getting more. Foundation, it's all about the nurturing process. I drove the treasurer home.... He lived across town. It was the least I could do though. He gave me the benefit of the doubt and showed up. It's funny cause when we think of ourselves worthy of being a leader we also find ourselves so very short of everything. The Fact is I am not flawless, but I am hard working. At least to reach my goals. I think I might of lost a recruit, or gained two. This is fishing for people. The net consists of other people. It's good to get rest, and finish your readings. I'm in a fragmented state right now but it's ok. I'll re read this post and understand that there is always going to be so much available on the plate, and you re going to have to be courteous, but your going to look after your own well being, so that you can have the strength to protect the .....
